Adama Science and Technology University organized a two-day forum aimed at addressing drug abuse among students. The event was led by Dr. Jima Assefa, the Dean of Student Services, who highlighted the growing concern of drug abuse among young people.

During the opening speech, Dr. Jima emphasized the need for awareness about the dangers of drugs and the importance of prevention strategies. The first day of the forum focused on training 150 selected students, while the second day was dedicated to campus security staff and proctors.

This initiative aims to create a safer campus environment by educating students and staff about the risks of drug abuse and promoting healthier choices.
